Privacy and leaderboard rules

If you only play, nothing leaves your browser. If you join the leaderboard, the nickname, an anonymous token, the level, the score, the time and the run’s input record go up. No account, no e-mail, no tracking cookie.

What goes to the server, only when you join the leaderboard

{
  "versao": 1,
  "nivel": "avancado",
  "semente": 20261030,
  "ticks": 104212,
  "pontuacao": 312,
  "hash": "9c41e07a",
  "e": [[812, 1], [640, 8], [1210, 13, -1000, -980], [16, 13, -1000, -1000], [301, 2], [95, 5]]
}

What about the IP?

The connection IP is only used to cap submissions per day and is kept briefly, along with the cap. It never reaches the leaderboard.

What never leaves your machine

What the input record is for

The server plays your run again from the keys and the mouse and checks that it reaches the same score. That is how forged scores stay out. The record also lets you watch the run again.

It only holds what you did inside the game: the three pedals, the handbrake, the engine, the gears and the shifter. Nothing outside the page.

Deleting

To remove your runs from the leaderboard, open an issue on the game’s repository with the nickname and the approximate date. Clearing the browser deletes the token, not the leaderboard: old rows keep the old nickname.

Site statistics (Umami)

The site counts visits with Umami, running on our own server. No cookies and no identification: each visit becomes an anonymous number that changes every day. Only the page (without the score code or parameters) and the country get there.

You can turn counting off in this browser:

Your visits are being counted, without identification.
